As an educational institution, the University of Basrah is reviewing the number of the academic staff and its proportionality with the number of students, and due to the inflation in the number of students resulting from the increase in the population in Iraq for ages (18-25), we indicate the urgent need to increase the number of the academic, especially in attractive disciplines that are a need for the labor market. Thus, the Department of Studies and Planning / Statistics Division provides all statistics and indicators for the number of academic staff at the university, on the basis of which future recruitment plans for the university are developed.
