Planning Division


Tasks of the Planning Division:

1- Studying the applications for the Creations of (colleges, scientific departments, administrative departments, divisions, units) to ensure that they comply with the controls and conditions of development to be submitted and obtain approvals from the relevant authorities.

2- Updating the organizational administrative structure of the university and the formations of the university showing the distribution of employees to the divisions and administrative units.

3- Participation in the committee preparing the strategic plan of the University of Basrah.

4- Develop short, medium and long-term plans to implement the university's goals with the least effort and the shortest time.

5- Follow up all the scientific plans of the research centers of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs and accomplish what is stated therein.

6- Preparing the quarterly report of the university's administrative, scientific and community activities and indicating an indicator of progress or decline in performance for all faculties, centers and departments of the university.

7- Follow up the scientific, technical and administrative structures of all university formations and study the indicators of the movement of owners on the structures.

8- Follow up the department's mail and electronic archiving.
