Vision, Mission and Goals
Vision:
Striving hard to develop the performance of the university in all its formations (colleges, centers, departments, divisions and administrative units) to achieve the best levels of development, as the Studies and Planning Department undertakes the task of preparing and following up the implementation of (university plans, university statistics, updating the database) in all its formations by following modern planning schedules and programs systematic with studied standards to activate work procedures in all fields.
Mission:
The mission of the department is fused to be an extension of the university's mission (as the best way to absorb modern global knowledge and teaching methods with the latest technologies and means of knowledge, as it is one of the most important institutions for the desired renaissance and make it an effective engine of development and knowledge economy in the Arab world and the world, as it is a very important institution. Therefore, the university works to show the civilized, scientific, and technical face through innovations and serious work. The University of Basra also hopes that the university's mission will be a scientific embodiment of its mission of empowering young generations to Innovating and developing their capabilities by arming them with knowledge and its types, nurturing the creative ideas of teachers, which lead to real innovations, as well as building bridges of cooperation and dialogue between Iraqi, Arab and international universities. Striving to be an active part in drawing up the university's strategies to achieve its mission and improve its performance and the performance of all formations under it.
Objectives:
1- Contribute to the development of short and long-term strategic plans to implement the objectives of the university with the least effort and the shortest time.
2- Determine the objectives to be achieved for the university in general and its formations.
3- Creating scientific and administrative formations to provide the labor market with new energies that contribute to the progress and development of the country.
4- Completion of an integrated database that includes all the data of the university affiliates and all that has been done administratively and scientifically at the university.
