Data and Informatics Division
A technical division that supports its work by using specialized software to maintain and update databases at the university. The Data and Informatics Division is responsible for all data related to employees at the university in terms of workplace, job title, certificate, etc. It is a link between the databases in the colleges with the database in the university presidency to facilitate their task with the basic information system (HR) and match that data with what is in the main base in the administrative and financial department. The work of the division is being developed to be linked with a network system linking the university to its faculties through the internal network located in the university (Internet).
The Division consists of the following units:

- Electronic Systems Unit.
- Human Resources System (HR) Unit.
Tasks of the Data and Informatics Division
1- Preparing detailed tables that include a statement of the functional deficit of the scientific staff annually in various specializations and distributed according to the faculties of the university, as well as the deficit in the administrative and technical staff at various levels, with the preparation of follow-up of the number of applicants in specializations.
2- Audit and follow up on all data related to the HR system.
3- Preparing periodic meetings with representatives of databases in the faculties and departments of the university to cooperate and coordinate to complete its work.
4- Providing technical and analytical advice to web database system designers.
5- Conducting training courses to train the staff of the Bureau and colleges on the programs that arrive from the Ministry as well as the programs designed by some of the division's employees.
6- Assisting colleges in entering the data of those colleges on the electronic calculator.
7- Coordination with databases in the faculties of the university to work on developing a mechanism to apply the methodology of dealing with the required data received from the ministry in the various formations of the university.
