Electronic mail System Unit

The Electronic mail System Unit was established to organize work on the e-mail program that works on the Internet (the internal network at the University of Basrah). The objective of establishing the e-mail unit is to monitor the continuity of the work of the e-mail system and organize work on the program, as well as to provide administrative and technical support to the employees using the system.

Tasks of the Electronic mail SystemUnit

1- Activating the system in all formations of the University of Basrah.

2- Providing administrative support and guiding users and introducing them to the correct work mechanism.

3- Provide technical support that includes repairing special devices in the system.

4- Providing courses and conducting introductory workshops about the system for employees and ensuring their correct work on it.

5- Communicate with the employees using the system and distribute (password and username) for each department, college and center.

6- Monitor the sending and receiving process.

7- Withdraw a monthly report and confirm the process of activating the system by all formations of the University of Basrah.

8- Creating a special group that contains users' phone numbers so that we can communicate with users to provide answers and solutions to them.
