Based on the directives of the Acting President of the University, Professor Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahhan, and under the supervision of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Haider Khazal,

The University of Basra/Department of Studies and Planning has obtained 135 job numbers for its staff (transferred from other ministries/appointed by the Federal Civil Service Council) from the Ministry of Planning/Information Technology Department/Employee Number Section.

The Director of the Department of Studies and Planning, Assistant Lecturer Murtadha Kadhim Afat, and the Head of the Data and Information Division, Engineer Zainab Abdul-Ridha Al-Zubaidi, confirmed that the university is nearing completion of issuing job numbers to all its staff. The Head of the Data and Information Division stated that the distribution of job numbers is proceeding smoothly and in cooperation with all university departments.

It is worth noting that in previous years, more than 1,340 job numbers were distributed to university staff.
